This is a weapon pack that my friend & clanmate, Worshipper, made while experimenting with luas. His weapons (in my opinion) kept getting better, updates after updates, over the past few months, since we started venturing in server administration/management & lua coding. So he came up with this release of 28 "realistic" weapons. What we mean by "realistic" is that those weapons are made to be as closer to the real feel of the real life weapon. Try to shoot a deagle in CS:S ; Its precision is unrealistic. A deagle in real life is rather hard to handle, and not so precise. [b][u]WARNING: Those sweps requires a good overall computer & a good video card to work well. This is because they have a lot of effects, like muzzle flashes and smoke. (E + Left Click to put the silencer) - GCOMBAT in grenades is removed. (You don't need gcombat anymore to install this) - Grenades are more powerful. - Smoke Grenades have an effect a little bit more big. - Icones work! - TMP has a better ironsight! ---------------------------------------------------------------- VERSION 3.0 CS:S REALISTIC WEAPONS ---------------------------------------------------------------- New stuff: - Completely remade the code because it was messy. A lot of begginner error stayed since I begin. - Sdded some help line in my code. - New scope designs. - The reload is now mannual. I think it's more realist. - Added a new admin gun (3 fire options: strider rounds, "electric" buckshot rounds and grenade rounds). - Flash grenade. Fixed stuff: - The TMP is now fixed. - The Glock had a problem of accuracy in burst mod. - Weapon's Icones are now in high quality. - Remade the HE Grenades. - Smoke Grenades have a better effect. - The shotguns can be interrupted when you're recharging (Works really well!) and have a better reload system - Remade the elites, they're now fixed (Shells bug, muzzleflashes bug) ---------------------------------------------------------------- VERSION 4.0 CS:S REALISTIC WEAPONS ---------------------------------------------------------------- -A new realistic system regarding movements when holding a weapon for example: when you move, the recoil raises, if you jump it will raise more, if you are crouched, then the recoil lowers a lot. If you are in iron sight mode it will lower even more. -The ammo types have been fixed and sorted (Some weapons were using pistols ammo when they should have used SMG ammo and vice-versa). -Re-arranged the spawn icon list. -While playing online there was a lot of small bugs like for example two (2) shells coming out when firing instead of only one (1). Apparently, Garry fixed this bug recently, so that part of the code has been updated and weapons seems to have far less small bugs while playing online. -Changed the small white dots (that appears when aiming with a M4, USP or any other weapon with a buggy model) by a cross hair from HL2. -Improved the smoke grenade. A new and better smoke effect, quite different than the preceding. The smoke now actually follows the grenade only and doesn't spread all around. -The elites dual pistols now have a new fire system, left click to fire the left pistol, right click to fire the right pistol. Each pistol as 15 bullets loaded. -A small sound now plays when you try to fire with an empty ammo clip: a little click-click. -The knife is now held just like shown in Counter-Strike: Source. -Improved the burst fire-mode of the glock, added new fire-modes for the FAMAS (Semi, Auto & Burst). -Before, there was a bug where you could reload during the animation of the silencer being placed on or when you were deploying the weapon. Now you have to wait between the animations to be able to reload the weapon. -An indicator now appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen in the ammo hud, to indicates which fire mode your weapon is set to. -Shotguns have been once again reviewed and improved. -Shotguns can bust door entities and they reappear 25 seconds after. However you need to use a buckshot round and be within 3 meters of distance from the door. This should be interesting for RPs. -Sniper's scopes are now non-toggle, means you have to hold it down, just like the other weapon's iron sight's. -Reviewed the code again and again to remove any messy codes. -Grenades now belongs to "World" so they can't be duplicated anymore. -Lots of new things. Its hard to list everything! -If you really hate the new shotgun system (Shotguns can bust door entities) for your RP because everybody abused of it, you can deactivate it. Just go to: C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/*YOUR ACCOUNT NAME*/garrysmod/garrysmod/addons/CSS Realistic Weapons 4.0/lua/weapons/weapon_real_cs_pumpshotgun/shared.lua Open the pump_shotgun lua file and at the line 1, you'll see: -- CAN THE SHOTGUN DESTROY DOORS WITH THE BUCKSHOT ROUNDS? 1 = YES, 0 = NO SWEP.DestroyDoor = 1 Change the value to 0 if you want to deactivate this mode. This is extremley nice, and it seems all that is missing is a flash bang. (I may have overlooked it) Their amazing, and this seems like a good rival to the "Real Counter-Strike" weapons.

I think this bug is quite known, wherever there is flashbang installed, players tend to see white flash randomly when lag occurs.
Yeah, that is what I expected. Anyway, there are some things I shall report. 1) Please make it so Gcombat is not required for the HE Grenade to work. I don't have it installed, so it spams me with console errors. 2) ...Not a bug, just... Why not make it so you can silence the USP like you do with the M4? Its better than having two separate SWEPS. 3) Not a bug, a suggestion. Can you make the smoke grenade fog more dense? Walking into it makes most of it disappear, making the grenade rather useless.

I'm not the lua specialist so I can't say if it can be done or not. But I'll make sure its taken into consideration.
Just one more thing... I don't seem to have the weapon icons as featured in your screen shots. Can you package them into another download?
I tested them out but ... it doesn't seem that the Weapons have a realistic recoil :|

Worshipper says he's gonna release another version soon, with the icons, and a better smoke grenade effect. But you still have the "punch" effect onto the screen.

Congratulations, this is officially perfect. (Must I say it again?) Fine. PERFECT! Nothing more I can ask from these things. (Customizable Cross hairs?)
This weapons pack is EPIC WINRAR! A nice change! And don't make a new thread. Just edit this one.
Found a bug. The TMP will not change fire modes and gives an error in the console when attempting to do so. (Something about Init) Also, can you make the knife use the knife-cut decals from CS:S? The bullet ones don't fit.
The knife throwing needs an animation. Empty shells seem to be ejected from the wrong place in your video.
i downloaded everything works great just no sounds pls help
While zoomed in with awp it has really low sensitivity, is there any way to make it faster?

Hey the models on the weapon pack aren't showing up gmod. Do you need CS:S do get this working?

vokxim your realistic weapons dont work in my Gmod10!!! there are no weapons there are just an error but i can shoot but THERE ARE NO WEAPON MODELS!!!
You need CS:S to see the models.
