wow, this looks pretty nice.
Don't use DarkRP as a base. Try LightRP or SQLightRP instead, both scripts don't have the pointless crap on it.
The only things that this script has that might not work for other game modes are [code] ent:AddMoney() ent:CanAfford() Notify [/code] It's easily fixable if it doesn't work and you really use something other than darkrp. And this isn't using it as a base.

No suggestions? Well I've got one that i've got one change that I'll make in version 1.5 [code] Faster Buying. Vehicle owning in DarkRP is automatically disabled. BMWs Drive a whole lot better. [/code] These will be released in 1.5

In that case, using LightRP as a base for this makes the most sense overall. That would mean that it would work with all 3: LightRP, SQLightRP, and DarkRP. The general idea is: setting it off of the original base gamemode (LightRP) would mean that the specific gamemodes (SQLightRP, DarkRP) built off that original base would work with it also. You wouldn't have to worry about whether or not it works backwards and is compatible with the base. Cool script(s)! I used to hate that the gmc4 version of Oviscity had an NPC in the gunshop that you couldn't buy anything from! This definitely looks pretty cool, and I'm going to try it out on my server. I'm running LightRP, so me and an admin are going to test it and see if it works. We'll be sure to tell you how it goes!
Look, I'm not even sure if I'm using Darkrp as a base. It could be light RP, but if you get any problems just PM me and I'll help you work it out.
is there still a barrier that takes away your stuff or is that gone in gmc4?
I have no idea what your talking about, but no I don't think there is a barrier that strips your weapons in gmc4. Yes it's gone.
Version 1.5 is almost done. After a few months I got bored and rewrote it. This is a whole lot better. I just have to have a friend of mine test it on his server to make sure it works all the way.

GMC4 never made sense to me. Spawn on the roof? Why? Any server with mp_falldamage 1 on left you a very slim amount of health if you jumped right off, and less than half if you were slightly careful and jumped down into the trees., then down the rest of the way.
You can set the spawn points of people in rp, and you will never spawn on the roof. I don't remember the command though. The only reason that is caused is because the people who made that map intended it for gmod9 and the normal spawns are an unknown entity to gmod10. so the only one that works is on that roof. (I don't know why)

It restarted and shows the Pentium screen, then restarts again. I just force restart my computer, then it's back. It scared the shit out of me. I then tried to open the file again, and it happened. Deleted the file, and nothing happened now. Maybe some help?
Use windows. Not lynix(I think that's how its spelled). Or whatever you used to extract it is a piece of shit. Or your not using a windows version better than 98 Or you have a virus PS. Version 1.5 is about to come out, and it was completely rewritten. I would suggest downloading this when its out.

In some cases that is true. If this is a problem though just remove npcsellers.lua and cl_npcsellers.lua. I'm pretty sure the other scripts won't be affected.

There isn't too much you can sell to players on that map unless you hide in the doctor's office or run the IKEA, given that Post office doesn't work right. I have to agree, that, normally, when a map depends on a script, it's not a very useful map in the long run, which is what the GMC version suffers from. I have just been walking around on the map, and playing without the ability to buy from the npc vendors makes it hard to do much on that map if you want money, thus limiting the economy greatly. So, with that in mind: Very good job, thegrb93.

Oh shit, sorry guys, but I forgot that I changed the folder of the cl_npcsellers and cl_car to autorun/client and need to change the AddCSLuaFile. ReReleasing it in just a sec. There you go. My bad, hehe.

Will this script work on singleplayer or not. Also how do you interact with the npc sellers? is it just e or what. thankyou. :)

The only times it hasn't worked is when I create a server with garrysmod rather than dedicated.
