Hello there, it's me again! This time around, I'm working on a gamemode called Anarchy! This time however though I am going to release the source code as I go along so that it won't hopefully die like most of my games. Another promising thing about this gamemode is that it will feature custom content, mainly models done by a friend of mine. However if you like your always more then welcome to help. Currently it will however be using vanilla models, such as the jeep.
Now as for the gamemode itself, it will transpire during a post-nuclear war, however there is a twist; It's during the nuclear winter. Therefore, one of the biggest issues is to stay warm enough to prevent freezing. This can be done in different ways, but the best is to find warm clothing and start campfires, etc. You also have a pressing need to recycle things, as the days of renewable resources are gone. Trees are no longer in this rule, as the nuclear winter has forced them into death.
The players will have various things to do, such as gathering wood, scavenging, looting. One of the things that I'm looking forward to the most however is the addition of jeeps into the game, which will hopefully help to travel the rather large map I'm working on. However, gas is quite finite so use them wisely! As for guns, as typical they're a invaluable asset, bullets may or may not be makeable later on.

Sounds fun, but you shouldn't really start a thread until you have actual content.
On another note, I was once working on a gamemode called Anarchy, but I never got around to finishing it, I might one day.

I made a gamemode called anarchy before too, loool. But now it's so shamed upon we don't speak of it.
Is the gamemode a map?
No, it's a gamemode. :P But this is a custom map for the gamemode. So doesn't that make it custom content. :v
