So, for the past few days, I've been updating Pirate Ship Wars for Garry's Mod 13. [B]Changelog:[/B] [code] Version 1.1.2 Fixed map cycle Fixed team change Increased cutlass range Version 1.1.1 Updated sabre model Now using pistol model from PVK Possibly fixed any missing font errors Muskets enabled by default Version 1.1 Fixed ammo indicator showing "-1 / 0" when there's no ammo Fixed ammo indicator showing on a melee weapon Added workshop ID to psw.txt Added info screen which checks to see if the custom content is installed "Fixed" map cycle - I'll really fix it later, I just disabled it. Use ULX or something for now. Made the death text less 2007. Replaced explosive barrel with a more 17th century gunpowder barrel Version 1.0 Initial Gmod 13 fix.[/code] [B]Disclaimer[/B] This gamemode was originally made by EmpV, then ported to GM10 by Metroid48 and Termy58. All I've done is fixed it up for GM13 and adding a few more things. FlaxWork put some amount of work into this, but it wasn't very much. [b]Map Cycle[/b] To get the map cycle to work, place a mapcycle.txt file in the root of your garry's mod directory (the directory that contains the folders models, materials, etc) and a list of maps in it like this: [code]pw_canyonwars pw_chokepoint[/code] (The reason there's a new thread is because FlaxWork.)

ahh I see, never added anything from workshop to a server before.
uhm, I installed both the content and the gamemode. But when the game starts, I doesn't seem to have any weapons. I tried the github gamemode too, but no luck. Can anyone help me?

Can you increase the range of the sword? it's so buggy, Also It would make life easier for server hosters if you put the content up on github too!

On topic, what exactly are the current bugs at the moment? Edit: Was about to join, but I see that it is full. As much as this would annoy some, I'm so glad it's gaining popularity once again. Buggy or not, my best first GMod moments were with this gamemode. If anyone wants, I could put up a second server, and just update whenever new revisions come out.

As for the content, git doesn't work well with binary content (models, materials, etc) but I'll figure something out.

How do we fix the no weapons bug?

We are on the official serv for now though and it's suiting us fine.

alright, i give up, from now on i swear never to post in the gamemodes section unless i have a fully working gamemode that i completly made myself. Which Will Probobly Never Happen :P

I can live with no caps at all, but capitalizing the first letter of every word is an eyesore at 1am with no coffee.
Did I screw something up? I have two crosshairs at once, no animations and terrible stuttering. I don't remember most of that from the old version. [editline]2nd March 2013[/editline] Nontheless it's one of the best experiences I've had in gmod and multiplayer overall.
This brings back great memories.
I'd really love this to be a game on itself. I'd kick ass, honestly.
So many memories from gmod back in 2010 are coming back. That was on of the best times in gmod in my opinion.
I have problem if i try to run the mod for my dedicatet server he say cant find i have all content + gamemode from gidhub can anyone give me server cfg from psw or startparameter i mean -game garrySMOD +sv_ .........
