[release]This tool is a weld that merges physics models. You cannot get welds better than this. So yeah, I'm not going to waste writing some fapworthy article about it. Left Click = Select(Can be many props) Right Click = DeSelect Reload = Finish Weld[/release] [release]Download This is only required on the server or for singleplayer. DO NOT UPLOAD ANYWHERE, THIS SVN IS THE ONLY PLACE! SVN Download: http://gmod-haza.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/gm_queryphys/garrysmod/[/release]
Oh god, been waiting on this for a LONG TIME! FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-
Thanks for this.
MIND = BLOWN Thanks a ton.
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY SSSSSSSSSSSSSSHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT No really, JESUS FUCKING CHRIST ON A DONKEY WITH AN AUTOMOBILE DRIVING OVER SIX VIRGINS THIS IS THE BEST BREAKTHROUGH EVER. FINALLY WE CAN HAVE MASSIVELY COMPLEX SPACESHIPS WITHOUT SO MANY GODDAMN FUCKING LAG ISSUES! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
This is fuckin epic.
this works perfectly.
Oh BTW, I will be adding duplicator support. Just goto do it right first time.
So.. I take a cargo container, a dumpster, and a crate, merge them, and then they're one? also do I put the svn in the addon or the gmod folder, cause I hate doing the gmod folder with svn.
GMod folder, this needs a .dll for it to work
Whoa, this sounds interesting to say the least, gonna check it out!
Any chance for Linux binaries in the future?
Great job
This sounds stupid, but how do I... De-svn-ize a folder? It's a bit tricky to catch the ball with the physgun sometime, looks like it can only be grabbed from a certain angle sometime. I wanna be able to choos the model for the poly :C
remove the .svn folders
Any chance for Linux binaries in the future?
Yes.
and again Garry grab the money Garry you are genius [editline]03:19PM[/editline] crashed when i try to weld something more complicated [img_thumb]http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/5451/gmflatgrass0006h.jpg[/img_thumb]
How complicated? I have done 60 props no problems.
Of all the times for tortoisesvn to not work anymore, regardless of how many times i reinstall. :(
GMod folder, this needs a .dll for it to work
Which DLL?
It's included with the download (gm_queryphys).
-snip- finally working
:O *FAPFAPFAPFAP* Fucking epic if i could, I'd lua king you, but now, you'll have to do with an agree edit: I crashed when destroing part of the "prop"
How did you destroy it? Breakable prop?
It didn't crash for me when destroying a breakable prop.
Jesus christ, we're finally getting that "impossible" stuff :holy::holy::holy::holy:
It didn't crash for me when destroying a breakable prop.
Regardless I should probs make them indestructible. Since their physics will still be there but no visible entity(also they would loose client side prediction).
Regardless I should probs make them indestructible. Since their physics will still be there but no visible entity(also they would loose client side prediction).
Don't make them indestructible, make them so if one is removed/destryed then all of them disappear.
This is awesome, you should definitely get queryphys added to GMod.
OH MY GOOOOD THIS IS SO GODLY HRRR... Wait a minute. In my brief play with this tool I made and observation Can't weld(constrain) anything too it, (Including thusters) So I ask you when will this be useful? what CAN I use it for?
