Hello [B]Day-X[/b] is a GameMode I've been working on for a little over a month now.
It is still in the development phase so please help point out any bugs or requests you may have.
Day-X is set in an alternate timeline of the distant future. The exact date is unknown hence Day-X.
During WWII Nazi Germany managed to take over the world. After many years of their reign on the planet a group of geologists dug up a Stargate. Many years after this event the first successful dial occurred. Upon entering the gate the travels were horrified at what they found. A world filled with mindless brain eating zombies. They quickly scurried home but the damage had been done, the team was infected. This infection quickly spread around earth devastating the population. Now, some time has passed and the population has diminished down to four lonely resistance groups of survivors that struggle to hold out against the onslaught of zombies and the raging war which is going on between the groups.
This is where the game begins.
You are one of the final survivors of this plague the stargate has brought upon the earth and you must choose your resistance and protect its well being at all costs!

[b]Gameplay:[/b]
Most of the control is accessed through your scoreboard, usually the TAB key.
Within the scoreboard are a few tabs:
Players: Overview of all connected players, which resistance they are in, and their Base Class.
Character: Your character, join a resistance, level up your character, pick you base and sub classes, set spawn weapons.
Bank: Access your resistances bank, transfer money in and out of your account, transfer money to players, take out loans.
Entities: Spawn base entities into the world, grouped by base-class.
[b]Waves & Stages:[/b]
There are 3 stages to each wave and a boss stage after 3 waves.
Build Stage-> Build/Repair your base.
Fight Stage-> Fight the war with other resistances.
Survive Stage-> Hold out against an onslaught of zombies.
[b]Important Information:[/b]
RDM-Protection:
RDMP is enabled during Build and Survive stage. This means you cannot damage or take damage from players during this time.
If you enter another players base area then you are open to attack from that resistance at any time and vise-versa.
RDMP is lifted during Fight stage so players can wage wars.
Raids can also be started through your resistances Command Point. Which lifts RDMP for 15 minutes between each resistance.
Almost, if not every thing has an upgrade menu. Take advantage of it!
[b]Some Specifics:[/b]
Each resistance needs 1 Command Point (CP)
The CP should be the focal point of each resistances base and is the main target of zombies and enemy resistance players. Protect it at all costs.
The CP has a +Use menu which allows you to start raids and apply upgrades.
The CP also has a shield that is cast out some distance around it to protect from enemy penetration and oncoming fire.
[b]Making Money:[/b]
KOTH: Different capture points around the map become active every 5min, stay in it the longest and you win that round.
Oil Dynamics: There is a diverse oil extraction, refining and delivery system where you can extract oil, refine it into gasoline, and sell it to a main depot. This is high-income
Printing: You have the option to create a wide selection of Illegal printers that will make money. This is medium-income
Drugs: You man manufacture illegal drugs through a "crafting" process and deliver these drugs to a few wondering drug dealers. This is low/medium-income
Attacking: Killing enemy resistance members, zombies, and destroying enemy base items give you money. This is low/high-income
[b]Getting Weapons:[/b]
Each resistance needs at least 1 weapon terminal which allows you to order weapon shipments. Once these shipments are delivered you may purchase them from a weapon exchange terminal.
[b]Oil Dynamics:[/b]
Oil is a way to make large amounts of money but is very risky as you must transport the extracted oil into the PVP zone.
[b]1.[/b] Oil Extractor, Extracts oil. Upgrade for increased speed
[b]2.[/b] Oil Storage, Stores your extracted oil. Upgrade for increased capacity
[b]3.[/b] Oil Transport, Train Tanker holds oil for transport to depots.
[b]4.[/b] Oil Exchanger, Exchanges oil from your storage into the tanker. Upgrade for efficiency
Pull your tanker up under the exchanger and it will start to fill, upgrade the exchanger to fill faster.
Once you have some oil in the tanker send it down the rail system into the Red Depot and under one of the oil drop-offs (looks like an exchanger).
Oil will rapidly deplete from the tanker.
Every gallon dropped off will earn you and your entire team money.
Watch out the Red and Blue Depot's are PVP zones.

I publically released my prop protection addon (KK_Base) and am creating another addon to release to the public, this however will only be released if one cold day in hell I decide to quit playing gmod and never return :P
It's really early in the day for me currently when i see someone else in the server all come play, Just don't feel like playing alone when tired like fk
I really wanted to play this - but then I realised it was another BaseWars edit/concept.
But still a far better basewars edit/concept than most.
It is still in development. It's not an edit either I did this from scratch. Its currently like basewars with some twists but I will be adding more zombie survival and DarkRP aspects as time progresses.
Today I am going to work on changing how the zombies act. Currently they are too "smart"
In a few hours they will roam about the map like brainless idiots, when coming in contact with another zombie they will form a "pack" that moves together brainlessly about the map.

Like LauScript and Kool Aid have said, I really feel you need a unified theme and a solid style to bring all of this together, lest it just looks like you've thrown some toys in a box and said "Have at it, boys!".
Also I'd suggest changing the name, or people will assume its like Day-Z. You having to mention this in the title is a very bad sign.

Yes every tool except for weld/remover is restricted to donor. I don't know which tools to allow and which to restrict. I hate restricting things but until I can get a good foundation as to what people need vs what is a commodity im just waiting on "Why is X restricted, I need it for Y"
Abusive admins? Who are you referring to? I'm usually in the game and crack down on that shit. It royally pisses me off. I have a small staff. It's hard to find trustworthy people over the age of 16

In the case of the tools, I'd have done the opposite and started off with most of them enabled for average users and weeding out the ones that can be abused/negate from the overall experience. Stacker in my opinion in this type of gamemode, shouldn't be allowed for even donators. As far as the abusive admin situation, I wasn't on the server for more than 5 minutes with my friend when RiceKing walked up to our base as a box model, tried getting in and when he failed he just moved my props with his physgun. Right after this he decided it was time to minigun us repeatedly in god mode (as our spawn was right above him) and fling us around with his physgun.
I'd recommend sticking with 1 (maybe 2) main addons for your vehicles. Neuro's vehicles are nice but are tanks and helicopters really your vision of how this gamemode should be played out? I think focusing more on the sweps would be your best bet as it doesn't take but a few shots of a pistol to kill a zombie; armored vehicles are just overkill, but thats only my opinion.

Admins under 16 is just a no...We should talk. Add me, I may be of some use.
RiceKing has been removed from the admins, I have had trouble with him before but he crossed the line this time. I try to give people ample opportunity to correct their behavior. In his case, he did not take advantage of my patience.
NeuroTec & WAC, yes I do see that as a part of the gamemode.
First and foremost NeuroTec for "Fight Stage" people stop basing for a little while, armor up and have a war
Second off, WAC for transportation, why wade through a mass of zombies when you could just fly over them, also because I plan a "Transportation" sub class for the "Civil Services" base class which will allow players to do something along the lines of "!request transport" in chat and that person will get a marker placed on their hud to go pick the person up via any means then take them where they want to go.
And thank you for the tools suggestion I don't know why I didn't do it like that in the first place, my goal is to gain players not frustrate them. <3

I'm thinking if you make a strong base then it will last until you get back on the next day, not likely to happen but possible! Makes it more fun :D
I've already tested with over 1000 entity's not even a flinch. Granted most things like props are stationary and never move.
While your disconnected income items create money directly into your resistances bank and a % is distributed to the rest of the resistance every so often. The banker sub-class will be allowed to set these rates (within reason) as soon as I can figure out how to put a DTextEntry into the scoreboard without it loosing focus as soon as you click on it..

Your resistance needs a weapon terminal to order shipments, then you can purchase those weapons from an weapon exchange terminal!
Make money from extracting and selling oil!
Get an Oil Extractor, Oil Storage, Oil Exchanger, Oil Tanker. Drive the oil tanker to the red depot and sell your oil!

I value your opinion. Unpolished yes, I'm still deep in development. In it's current form it has all the features of basewars and then some.

Seems like a horrible idea. All you are doing is having BaseWars + zombies + WAC + vehicles. It's like those gamemodes 12 years old kids think of, looks like one too.

Your opinion is your opinion. Everyone that's joined and has gotten a quick tutorial loves it.
I will see this through to the end no matter how much negative comments I get.
BaseWars is just an idea. It's a small portion of almost every gamemode. Take an area, fortify it, protect it. Now with DayX you've gotta protect it from not only players but zombies, tanks, and aircraft. Who doesn't want that?
Not to mention you don't stand around and watch money fall out of your printers. How boring is that. There is plenty of variety already and much more to come.
Pick this apart if you will, but constructive criticism is appreciated. Again I must state, this is still deep in development. People who make "Concept" posts get flamed for not providing some sort of proof that its being worked on and not purely idea. What more do I need to do? Ive laid out concept and have provided proof.

So when i first got on, it takes a little getting used to everything,
And the downloads are long, but dont take that to offense, its WORTH IT!
Day-X is spectacular when you get alot of people on, it gets really hectic during the fight stage, and the new features coming on are really interesting!
I'd heavily suggest you who are reading this to come on and give the server a try, it was worth it to me,
