JailBreak is a simple gamemode that consists of two teams; Prisoners and Guards. The Guards give orders to the Prisoners and the prisoners have to obey in order to stay alive, there are a lot of twists and turns though. As a prisoner you have to try to be the last remaining prisoner or rebel and kill the guards in order for the prisoners to win the round.
I know that Aide already made a thread for this, but it is very dated and I think that I should make the OP as I do all the work and he just hosts it for the me and the community.
Improvements since the last jailbreak gamemode that I've made, this one is from scratch but the idea is based on the old one (You probrably don't know it, but it's named Prisonbreak1)
+ New HUD
+ New main menu and character selection
+ No more weapon attachments (Complicates the gamemode too much)
+ No more hunger (Complicates the gamemode too much)
+ No more stamina (Complicated the gamemode too much)
+ Removed notifications when somebody rebels (Complicates the gamemode too much)
+ Replaced hunger with a round timer
+ New weapon base that functions a lot faster than the old one.
+ New round system that functions a lot faster than the old one.
+ New scoreboard
+ Guards can spawn special objects to use in games (there is a global limit on spawning)
+ Warden system added.
+ Removed all derma menus, replaced with custom VGUI.
+ Added hard-coded last requests
+ Works with ExclServer (released when gmod13 comes out, it's an admin/currency/shop/music system for servers)
+ Quick commands, objectives that the warden can set in the map, like; Go here, line up here. Makes it easier to give clear commands.
+ You can now select with who you want to play your last request
+ Added a HUD element for the round-end team scoreboard thingy, instead of simply printing it on the screen.
+ Added a help menu, you can report bugs, view the community forum and get a guide to how jailbreak works.
+ Weapons now draw on players when they don't hold them, rather than having a weapon checker SWEP.
+ New weapon selection menu.
+ New notification system
+ New icons for notifications (They are the ones Sandbox used to use before garry replaced them)
+ New spectator HUD/Menu (Also used in my nazi zombies gamemode)

jailbreak folder goes in gamemodes/
jbMaConfig.txt and jailbreak3 go in data/
Figure out how to use it yourself, the map was tested on ba_jail_hellsgamers_se_r2 but you can easily add your own maps with the addvote command and mapconfig(_lr) swep. (most maps in the download are already properly configurated)
If somebody decides to fix up the gamemode (or make it gmod13-ready) then they must make a new thread and not post here.

Aide has suggested to put it up when gmod13 comes out so we can put up all our things at once. That's probrably how it's going to happen.
I am still happy to take suggestions on this project.

because gmod gamemodes are superior to css ones, also because in CSS everything is pretty shitty when it comes to jailbreak.
Does your server have a rule about if you're under the age of 15 you can't be warden?
It's not a server, it's a gamemode.
It's up to the server owner if he wants to add a silly rule like the one you just mentioned.

The point is that everyone on CSS Jailbreak is an elitist dipshit. You can't make out what anyone is saying, the gamemodes feel clunky and annoying and everyone there is a dick who won't give you a chance to learn.
I pretty much made my servers BECAUSE of how bad CSS Jailbreak was.

It's not a server advertisement, there is no server. It's just a pre-release thread so I can get feedback.
looks great, but do you have playermodels "highlighted" when they rebel?
I removed it cause people hate(d) it.

It's just uncommenting a few lines so really not that big of a deal, though.
I think it would also be interesting if you made it more "old school"/realistic jail style, like with guards with wood furniture pump shotguns, and other things that would evoke the style of prison movies and whatnot, instead of M4/AK errehday.
I made a semi-popular jailbreak map for CS:S that did that, people liked it.
Guards only had basic pistols, no deagle or things like that, but they also had a lot of flashbangs in the spawn (which inevitably lead to lots of griefing, it could be mitigated in gmod though) to help control prison riots.
You could expand on the more realistic experience thing with tasers, etc.
In that style, not highlighting escapees would make sense, however in the current arcade style, it does

basically jailbreak + realism:
guards primarily have shotguns (preferably a custom SWEP that looks like an older shotgun, like the ones traditionally used in US prisons), instead of assault rifles. some M4s and G3SG1s for those up in the towers.
deagle isn't the "standard issue" pistol, rather glock.
this decreases the "killing capability" of everyone, forcing guards to carefully cover each other, use tactics (like handing your gun to someone else before approaching prisoners), etc.
Also, instead of an "elimination" style that's present in standard CS:S jailbreak (where the round usually ends when all the Ts or CTs die), the style in my map was the prisoners would try to make it to a certain "escape point" on the map (usually the prison gate), and the guards would just try to run a regular prison routine (shower the prisoners, have the prisoners do work, have the prisoners go outside), while preventing escapees, and tracking down and killing them when valid.
It was intense.
how about an sort of objective or someting system? like every interval the prisioners have a neato UI notification to do an task as example go to showers or someting and the guards have the same task like watch out prisioners while in showers

that was integrated into the rules under my suggestion, the guards had to have the prisoners go do certain things every round.
no UI needed.
The 'objective' system is very simple right now, it only provides basic stuff. Other stuff will have to be typed in chat. You can plant an objective if you have been picked as warden. Objectives are things like: Line up here, Move here, Destroy this, Check this out, Use this, etc.
