Hey, this is an edit I did of Valkyries port of Melon Race.
The file and logo say Melon Racer but whatever floats your boat.
I'm uploading it here because workshop does not work for me ([Not allowed by whitelist])
Credit to the original creators of Melon Race and credit to Valkyrie.

Features:
Custom sounds.
Custom Textures.
Removed Powerups.
3 maps. (One new, two improved with new textures)
Improved damage system. (Similar to Gmod 9's version)
New Checkpoint sound.
New Lap! sound.
Plays ambient sounds every minute or so.

Notes:
Power ups were removed because to me they took away the original gmod 9 feel of Melon Race.
If you want to know how to make a map for the gamemode just use vmex to make the map a .vmf and look at how i've made the checkpoints (Trigger brushes tied to a specific entity)
