Add DoF (Depth of Field) as far as you can, people want to get a good atmosphere and see the area. If you're ina desert add alot "depends on weather and how warm it is. Allways think before you do something, or live with your fantasies, sometiems your creativity is bad and good, so wait for next day. Sarutation, contrast and brightness can be combined for great WW2 atmospheres. Go to Q > Menu and switch "Model LOD" to "0" for great details on objects. Use "sharpen" VERY LITTLE so people can't see any difference exept that the textures look slightly more quality in it.
THE KEY TO SUCCES (MORE ADVICES)
- People don't want shitty and lazy videos - After you have recorded from the "left to right", it fits well to record the next shot in the same angle and speed (cinematography/scenegraphy). - If the music switches from quiet to loud, quickly make shot over a destroyed city for example, for an epic feeling (dramatic/epic). FOLLOW THE MUSIC (exept background music, exept some cases) - Add details to the map, use skybox props and use high quality maps so people thinks the video is at great quality, like cheating buit it ain't. - Download as much custom props as you can, people like to see new content, and besides they know you put time on your project. - Allways be kind and connected to the viewers at the end and ask for C&C so people can help you. - Think before you add a title, you gotto know what it means, a title like this for ex: Retaliation. (Retaliation - A short Garry's mod film). - If the video was like an adventure add a happy beutiful song at the credits, or add a badass song if it was an action movie. If it was a comedy, why not add a funny song that catches people's minds? - Look daily on Facepunch for personal skins and releaed maps and models. - Visit www.gamebanana.com to find great maps by real creators.
FP USER ADVICES
None at the momment... Sorry for my bad english, I did as good as I could, besides if there's anything I should add please tell me so I can add it for the "FP user advices". I'm pretty sure I have forgotten something, a video might come up soon because I am currently working on one to demonstrate and show you some examples.
