The effects could use a lot of work. The lasers, for example, are just solid red beams while they should be white on the inside and glow noticeably. The blood would look decent if it wasn't so flat; Try to add some depth by shading your blood effects.

At any rate, I like the idea, but the execution is what hampers this.
The lasers look bad, they should have white insides instead of the solid red, and the blood, as Joazzz said, needs shading.

I was actually going to go for that, but at the time, Satin was being annoying and making it almost COMPLETELY white. As for the blood, yeah, i'll need to look up a tutorial some time. I admit I just used the brush tool with two different shades of red.

Truth be told I don't go to Facepunch very often unless a new shiny model is available for DL. You could probably tell with the lack of posts on my part. That being said, I see WAY more Pony/Brony love than hate. It's infectious to the point where coming here is like a vacation from that.

The posing i'm not proud of for them, but that's for a reason. The pure annoyance you get from a total of 27 pose-able bones on a regular model was tumor worthy for unfreezing. Some of them I put effort in, others I just kind of waved their legs around.
I was going to go a bit more in depth with maybe some rocket boosters behind him, but it seems in my rush, I forgot to add a blending effect to make it more apparent. It's more of a big glob of orange. That being said, he's kind of... gliding. ish.
In retrospect for the minigun at the top, it does look fucktastic to the point where bullets are going ABOVE the muzzleflash. Should've probably looked at that before hand. And the muzzleflash effect is just the handy dandy TF2 Heavy Minigun Muzzle.

There is no need to fix them. You will see much better, completely redone ponies in the future. :)

What everyone seems to forget is that liking a show =/= worshiping a show. Most MLP fans base lots of aspects of their lives around the fucking thing.
