Love is making compromises, and to truly know your lover, you gotta walk in their shoes, or fight with their weapons.
This seems more like just a model display. I can't see anything that they could possibly be watching because it's cropped so tightly and the DOF is so intense. You could have called it "two dudes standing back to back" and I wouldn't have known any different.
BUT. That isn't to say it's bad. The posing is excellent, citizen-face-armor-body is looking proper badass, and the argonian(?) looks great too, apart from his faceposing looking a little odd. The lighting could also be a [i]little[/i] bit stronger perhaps, seems like a shot that could have a much darker background.

Argonian is meant to be female, they are meant to be really close soldiers, after some crossover thing I have yet to make.
Thank you for the suggestions, I was originally going to have a few more enemy characters, but I didn't feel like it, hence why I chose a less "actiony" title.
