Because last time I checked not everything Facepunch posts needs to be historically correct.
I think It looks fine as I'm not jizzing myself over the incorrect weaponry.
What if a Russian dropped his gun and this guy wanted to pick it up?
As a curious question, is it wrong to pick up an enemy's gun in the army or something?
Also, the rain seems a bit strange, like its not very rain-like(they look like thousands of needles instead of rain droplets I mean), but the muzzle flashes and posing are great.

How would an american soldier in the pacific be able to pick up a russian gun from a dead russian in Europe?
whos the dumbass who put yellow fucking BDU shirt on them?
Remove the rain and you have a great screenshot. The posing is great and the scenebuild(?) looks very nice too.
Also lol'ed at the gun discussion, just shut it.

Actually, the Russians did took their part in Asia. Also same with the British, they too fought the Japanese in one of their own colonies.
Battle of Lake Khasan is an example.
Maybe he could be holding a Type 100 the wrong way, or it was mashed sideways.
I like this, great posing and scenebuild. That would shit me up if loads of Japs came at me from all sides! Only thing that lets this down is the rain and also the sky, it's too light for me and the rain is too much tone it down and the Japanese soldier 2nd from the left looks a bit off. But other then that everything else is great.
Rain's a bit 2D and you need to turn up your AA, but other than that, your good.

During WWII nobody gave much of a fuck, but now? Abso-fucking-lutely.

Well, to clarify - to pick it up and use it. Picking it up with the intent of denying the enemy is fine, but actually keeping it and using it yourself will end with you either in a lot of trouble or getting lit up by your own guys (particularly with distinctive-sounding weapons like AKs).
Rain and tracers are terrible, by the way
Ackshully:
You won't get in true "Trouble" by using the Enemy's weaponry, but like you mentioned, you could accidentally draw friendly fire to yourself. Officials don't really give a damn if you snatch up an AK, the worst they could do would be a "Put down that boomstick, son".
Wrong. You will end up in a whole world of shit for using it, even more so if you leave your own lying around for the enemy.
The only reason to pick up an enemy weapon is to clear it, to deny it, or (if you can okay it with your chain and with the red tape brigade) send it home to your country's main war museums. You never, ever start using an enemy weapon in place of your own except in the most extenuating circumstances (i.e. you are out of ammo, everyone else is out of ammo, a shitload of dudes are bearing down on you, and you have no other choice at all).
