I don't browse here much, and I'm not at all famous, but from what I've seen -people going and coming and going again- you guys have been spot-on in most of your decisions. People just can't take criticism like men. I blame parents.

No not really. Everyone who used to post shit just stopped doing it.
i.e, ldesu, Kyle, Satyria, Hunta/Grumpy Hitler, Xro, Edberg, mamba, Gun, pretty much everyone from sax servers, ZP, his ass kisser (can't remember name evan something.), that one nodex dude who made all those helicopters and so on.
And pretty much the only server I'd play online on got fucked up and destroyed and then online building would never be the same. Oh and I don't really play gmod anymore.

I retired at about 1500hrs, I started playing gmod when I was 14 (2004) from the very beginning, had an epic adventure through the various gmod evolutionary steps but now I am 20 have two businesses to run and have no motivation to play games. I still muck around with Rfactor though and lurk facepunch. Also had so many alts :(

This section was popular a long while ago, the decline was probably when wire-using and intricately detailed contraptions were being posted all the time, it made all the relatively simple things pale in comparison. That, and the building part of Gmod seems to have been forgotten by most. It's all about gamemodes now
