We are all very familiar with the story of Santa Claus, but there is another character that tends to be overlooked. Mathcat.

Mathcat makes a run around all gmod servers between 2:00 and 3:00 am. Mathcat's job is to deliver technologically advanced (and superior) presents to all players who accell in mathmatics, programming, building, logic, general science, and the applications thereof. Of course, to make such a run, Mathcat needed a vehicle. Prefering science to magic, Mathcat turned to Balto Aerospace, the company in which he was a cheif engineer. After years of toil, the Balto Aerospace GDU (Gift Delivery Unit) was born.

The Balto Aerospace Gift Delivery Unit consists of two opposing pine trees, encoumpassed by three apeture disks counterrotating at constant speeds, held in place by an immense magnetic field. The spinning disks create a field made of tacheon particles that semi-exludes the GDU from the universe, allowing it to hover and be capable of speeds greater then that of light. The GDU has a single open cockpit flanked by two [del]portal turrets[/del] infared cameras from which mathcat pilots the GDU and launches gifts down to the houses of the intended recipiants, a far more efficient method then that of Santa.

Mathcat has one hatrid, minges.

Mathcat cannot stand their kind, that thing nothing and contribute nothing asside from rope spam and blast door "admin bases". Unlike Santa, Mathcat prefers to give these nusiences more energetic materials then coal.

On the other hand, mathcat is very generous to his other, more logical recipiants.

At the end of the night's delivery, mathcat returns to his tile counter, where he does math, and engineers for Balto Aerospace.

The gift delivery unit was originally concived several months ago, when Mathcat, my personal IRL cat, first became a meme local to my server. The gift delivery unit originally bore no relation to mathcat, I built it for the lol'z when a friend of mine made a christmas tree out of glados rings in early preperation for christmas, still several months away. As a result, I proclaimed "I CAN TOP THAT". The gift delivery unit came thereafter. Mathcat evoloved around it about a moth or two later, when we switched to a map that acctually contained a mathcat easteregg. (The map was made by the same friend who made the glados ring tree). Yes, this post has been being planned for this day form the very beginning, at the end of October. The mathcat legend just sort of evoloved into it, and yes, mathcat is intended to be sort of the "Chuck Noris of Math"
