The smoke is really 2D and the jpeg quality looks really low.

Motion-blur isn't as simple as isolating and then applying the filter. You need to use clone-stamp on the background layer to get rid of those harsh lines where blurred meets un-blurred.

Posing is solid. Foreground smoke doesn't look like a gradient as much, but still needs a bit of work; and I don't really like the muzzle flash much.
