• Requesting A Manual/Readme For a Contraption

I have a dupe of a HUGE fort that is a literal mountain, with the interior being made mostly of combine trains (Better then it sounds). It has a sliding rock door for the main entrance, as well as a missile silo and a few other things. But there's a problem. I lost the readme, and have forgotten what the buttons do, how to prime the base, etc. If anyone could find the readme or the thread on Facepunch (I sereched to no avail), that would be greatly appreciated. (I hope this is in the right section)
It has a helicopter stuck in the upper part of the mountain. Two whole segments slide away to reveal the entrance. That's really awesome.
Wow i didn't see that one coming... Nice.
Yeah nice work, next time name your buttons ;-)
What.
Umm.. I can't remember, but I think there's this method called trial and error. Perhaps press a button and watch what happens?
I think that is obvious. Does anyone know where the DL link is. The garrysmod.org search box is sooo far away.

try googling the name of the adv dup file. see if anything poops up. yes, I said poops.
oh noez! I hurted his feewings!
Silverhammer can smell you a mile away Try not to do that. Oh and.. other guy, who's looking for the mountain by which I know the location of the dup. file.. I really have no idea where it is sorry :obama: How bout making another and being proud of yourself instead of finally finding it and being all like sad face why did I do that

Please try saying that again as I could not understand what you said. ALSO TO CLEAR UP THE CONFUSION I did not make his base. I found the dupe somewhere, obviously I do not remember where, and I cannot find the readme that came with it. In fact, the dupe only seems to exist on the servers I frequent, in my personal dupes folder. I know I used to have it on my computer, so I figure I lost it when I had to wipe Gmod a while back.

lol spell check doesn't help? Oh yeah and ^ that looks like it. I was saying you could make your own and be happy you did so e_e But you had to ruin the fun of saying it >=C
http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=584876 That one maybe?
YES THANK YOU SO MUCH You are welcome on Tomatosoup's server any time, just tell him you're the guy who found v's instruction manual! Thank you Thank you. So much.
I lost the readme
Interesting, I don't recall making one. As for a manual, most of it should be easy to figure out from the video. 99% of moving parts are frozen to keep adv dupe from screwing it up (This includes the hidden back door that is bound to numpad 0). There is a missile defense system half hooked up, it currently resides under a rock to the upper left of the main door. It's half hooked up since I think (at the time) I capped Adv Dupe since it would not save anything new I put on the mountain which is why Ive yet to finish it. The "do not press" button on the crane controls "Self Parks" the crane as seen in the video. The console to the right of the crane controls works "Rapid Deployment", which involves unhooking the hover drive so it dose not teleport the entire mountain (unless you want to... for some odd reason). the hover drive is in the RFID implanter room near the door control switch. I do not know how the rapid deployment system works, surprisingly. someone I know built it mostly for himself. However I know a few things, like it has to be turned on, and it goes to whoever says "Request" and goes back to the pad on the floor if you say "Return". Other than that, you will have to play around with it to figure it out. I'm not sure if people understand the main door so I'll go through that while I'm at it. For the door to listen to you, you have to have the RFID code implanted in you. To do this stand in the green beam and have another person press the button that looks like a white switch (I built it this way to keep people from implanting themselves easily so they could not activate the main door). The rock to the right of the door (might need to be unfrozen) moves when you get close to the right of it and if you have the RFID when you press the button, the door should slowly open and automatically close. on the inside there is a "Do Not Press" button in the main hallway that will open the door as fast as possible in case you need the door opened quickly. That's everything that I can think of... I might have missed something. Hopefully this helps. :D
