If you're using photoshop just turn the layer blending to Multiply. That's not the best way to do it but at least the blood will be a tad better. If using Gimp then there must be some kind of similar blending option.

Witch Assassination? I didn't know the Witch as a sentient being who assassinates. I was under the impression that the Witch is a zombie that kills.

The blood could use some depth. That's my 2 cents for you. But other than that, I think its nice.
