Hey guys,
I am working on a new pic and I need some suggestions/advice on what I should add to it. So let me know what you guys think.
Thanks.

Not a lot of debris for an explosion that big. Plus the borders of the image seem pretty empty, might wanna zoom it in a little.
The posing is a bit odd, like the guy on the left holding the gun on his shoulder......the gun doesnt look like it is, tone down the blur, add a bit more light and the explosion to me looks pasted on.
Would you suggest directional lighting like from the explosion? Or add some bloom.
The explosion I made using some png's of explosions then adding glow layers, do you know how I could make them better?
P.S. Yeah I spent an hour trying to get ghost (guy on the left) to look half decent, I'll just go repose then take another pic.

Zoom in, because that map looks dated and boring as buggery, try adding a few lamps to highlight the ragdolls cause it is that dark i didnt realise that was ghost. Be careful with bloom sliders, personally i use the cold bloom option and fiddle with the sliders also use the colour sliders too but again be careful. Did you use SDoF?
No, I didn't use any DoF, I played with it but I didn't get it how I wanted. I might try saving as a different file format (in jpeg), because in Photoshop its not that dark. Might also change the effect from an explosion to more of a burning environment.
He faked DOF by applying some weird blur around the edges. The first thing you did wrong was the camera angle, back it the fuck up and zoom in to add ~drama~ to the scene, and consider lowering it significantly. I think your idea here is "the three fucking guys + explosion" so feel free to adjust the angle so that only the relevant pieces are included. If you want more freedom paint some shit green and make a fake greenscreen so you can play with the explosion more easily.
Second the problem is when you simulated the "dof" with that weird blurring (always use SDOF, NEVER fake it unless you're going to spend HOURS doing it properly) you forgot quite a few places but more importantly didn't take into consideration that the explosion should then be blurred as well. Think about it.
Besides the left guy the posing is decent, but I think you should just pose him without the gun walking normally and make sure that looks good before thinking about how they'll hold the weapon, which is generally easier once you have a solid foundation in place.
Also you've done a decent job with the lighting but the boring angle, cheesy effects, and one awkward pose really kill it.
Keep at it, though, it's got some potential.
