The Combine on the front ruins it, the poses aren't that good and the dof is not rendered.

Those Combine were intended to be on the front.

Like I said, the elbows have a few issues for me. They have this weird habit of suddenly twisting.

That's the Combine for ya. After all, if they've somehow converted the Elite's head into one giant eye judging from the helmet, then surely they've must've modified it to be immune to eye damage from stuff like bright lights.

(And maybe have depth perception.)
