George Orwell got the year wrong. A (very) short dystopian machinima on Garry's Mod, and I thought I'd share it with the Punch of Face. The song is 2+2=5 by Radiohead. Some animations are a bit sloppy. That aside, I'm quite satisfied with this. C&C appreciated.
The phrase "two plus two equals five" ("2 + 2 = 5") is a slogan used in George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four as an example of an obviously false dogma one must believe, similar to other obviously false slogans -- in Nineteen Eighty-Four.

Nineteen Eighty-Four has become famous for its portrayal of pervasive government surveillance and control, and government's increasing encroachment on the rights of the individual.
Music doesn't really fit at all. Everyone behaves exactly the same.
Music doesn't really fit at all.
As in the musical style? Lyrically it fits like a fist in an elephant's rectum.
Everyone behaves exactly the same.
Intentional. The government has forced them to give up all individuality.
2+2=5 Thats a really dumb name for a song... The story was alittle generic, everyone acted the same, music didn't wall fit too.

I addressed the loss of individualism already. Tell me, in which way the music didn't fit? I'm trying to improve my work, which is why I need a bit more detailed complaints.

This movie was real in between, which isn't a good combination, its too hard to find the right way, and generally it just ends bad. to sum it up, music needs to flow with the movie, this didn't flow. also avoid singing in your videos, it is distracting.

Thanks for the tip, I'm gonna have to keep that in mind.
You may want to look into faceposing, and building a strong story, with voice acting and a non generic plot. The amount of work you put into this will never pay off the way it does when you simple spend alittle extra time with faceposer and other people who can voice act. You also take a giant leap in your quality when you do this. Find what your talented in.
