I'm a big Stargate fan, so I though I would do a SG themed pose. I'm trying to work on Muzzle Flashes and Shading, so any advice would be appreciated. I might end up shading the Stargate, don't know yet. Still practicing :) 1920x1080: Without gun Blur or Shading on the Gate: With gun Blur and Shading on the Gate: Do you prefer the Blurred gun, or the non?

Uploaded to uppix, I guess dropbox didn't want to work for guys :P. Everything should be good now, sorry 'bout that.
a bit empty but well edited
I like the way you did the colors on the soldier, gives it a very detailed effect, i think he's leaning forward a bit though with his torso. That dude also has a huge thumb!
lighting is nice, but that's really all i can compliment. there is a black hole under his helmet (see chesty's post in one of tsauldrhfllgdfgfdgajfg's threads for elaboration), the weapon is too blurred, and the muzzle flash is ridiculously huge and looks bad anyway. posing is not that good and the scene itself is pretty ordinary.
the grunge overlay is really shoddy
