Everything's great except the delay between vaulting over something, other than that :iia:
the hands are way out of sync
Dah, dis vil work. :the heavy
Good First person video. But the running sound was odd. It sounded like the person was running threw muddy water? But great work mate. Good luck.
A bit choppy when vaulting, and I didn't like the "HUNGH" when a obstacle was jumped. Other than that, good.
Speed up the transition between vaulting and you have yourself a nice first person test.
All I could imagine was a guy running down the streets wildly karate chopping everything in his path.
Yeah yeah, new version is going to be better. Thank you for the comments.
Emm, I didnt love it. It was alright but it seemed to unrealistic, The pauses between vaulting and also it was to blurred. The hand movement was also very somewhat unrealistic aswell. (I know its not easy doing a First person machinima) Overall it was a nice test.

Is the voice of that guy a samurai or a guy that has problems with orgasims? Needs better sound files, and the pauses need to be fixed?
Needs better sound files, needs more head movement, needs less of a pause, and no blur. I suggest using moving cameras. Here's a video I made that accurately captures the 'head bob' effect i'm sure you're trying to produce. in addition, if you use the moving cameras, you don't need to do any of that screenshot bullshit for the vaulting.
How do you do this? I have always wondered.
How do you do this? I have always wondered.
Fumple used moving camera tracks and edited it, the OP used a greenscreen, and a clip with a moving camera. I think there is a better way to achieve the head bob effect, use sharp-eye, you don't even need it for just running/jumping/falling ect ect, you can use it as a ingame realistic camera jitter, not too much, but just right.

I'm thinking of making a first person test too but I don't know how to green screen and I don't have sony vegas so I'm gonna use NPC advanced movement stool and NPC camera stool and screenshots.
You can always greenscreen the hands into the kind of videos i do... You have to do basically what Scout said, although after you're done 'clicking' to make the camera track, go back and physgun each new section so that it tilts left and right each time
I use SharpeYe so i don't have to make headbob -effect in video editing program. But yeah, for action scenes and like vaulting in that video, i use screenshots. It's slow but effective technique.
The hands are too close to each other. it looks abit comical ro something. the vaulting is obviously choppy.
Why do they all fail in parkour in the vid?
It was done on purpose.
Green hands.
Green hands.
What? Where? If you mean green lines, it's because i made bad greenscreen.
The way he vaults makes him look like hes really fat. You know all slow.
