Yeah, i don't really fully grasp how to into lighting, that is without it looking like i am shining the sun at it or the lighting looking completely out of place.

Yeah, i don't really fully grasp how to into lighting, that is without it looking like i am shining the sun at it or the lighting looking completely out of place.[/QUOTE] i find that the key is to keep the lamps subtle and consistent in their coloration. ideally you should have two to four lamps of similar color to set up the ambiance, and one or two other lamps of a different color that complements the ambient lamps but still contrasts with them. so if your ambiance is made of varying shades of blue, throw in some orange or a nice rich yellow - [URL="http://colorschemedesigner.com/"]you can use this chart to get an idea of what i mean[/URL]. don't set the brightness on the lamps any higher than three or four though, or else it'll stand out too much and look ugly.
