The one biggest thing I felt I was never good with in photoshop is making good looking blood.

You guys got any tips in particular for better looking blood? For this one, I used pre made blood brushes, applied some motion blur and clipped out some of the brushes I didnt like. And as you can see, it looks like utter shite.
You really just have to goof around with it.

I don't mean to pick on you, but I hate it whenever people suggest to just "toy around" or "go crazy" with the filters/effects and whatnot. An entire picture can be ruined by over-using the special effects even just a little.
If you're going to experiment with them, you have to do it a little more methodically. Sometimes a compositional error can be alleviated by just simply stepping back and looking at just what the hell is wrong with it, instead of playing with your dick in one hand and the filter slider in the other.
I dont think he was talking about goofing around with filters. I think he was talking about goofing with the effect in general to adapt to the pictures needs. Which makes perfect sense.
I'll look around for a tut, but on my last search I couldnt find one.
