well, since the only good stalker models where that belonging to fellow perskinners, i needed to add the mask to hide the fact that the stalker is fussy, besides gasmasks are the new face trend

Regardless, gas masks won't protect from radiation, assuming that this would be a significant time after the Chernobyl incident, the radiation would have drifted anyway. The gas mask is for aesthetics at this point.
