Howdy.
I was lurking around in the basement today, and found this really old model car of a 1914 Ford T. I just couldn't think of how fun it could be to remake it in GMod and so I did!
It has a pretty realistic torque and speed for a 1914-1920 Ford Model T. It's an open wagon, compared to the most hard-top Ford's back then.
I used around 7 hours on the modelling and a few hours on getting all the colours / materials / force / speed correct. It's fully functional with WASD stearing and realistic engine sounds.

Oh, and if you missed it

Thanks!
Built well. Colored very poorly.
Overall, I like the form. Good job.
The materials need redone, and the whole thing seems long to me. It is in desperate need of parenting, and what is that metallic jar?

Fag who wields the anti-tank RPG says what?
You could really get your hands around the scale. The phx props aren't always user friendly and with that said it tends to trick you sometimes. I'm asking you to analyze your work so far to inspect the dimensions of it to make the next car* even better.
*Whatever.

Umm, excuse me? You confused me, which has been the norm for most people for a while now, it seems.

Shut the fuck up.

The hell's your problem? What did I do to you?

you're an asshole sat.
Jackpody, I'd recommend changing your colors and materials, rechecking your dimensions (I'm curious how you came up with it being accurately scaled), and advise you to use a proper parenting tool. Karbine's improved multi parent on garrysmod.org is very good. Little details like a turning steering wheel, a modeled diffcase for the powered axle, the elliptical spring and the axle shackles, etc., would go a long way, and, if parented, would have no effect on lag (100 parented props have as much lag as maybe 5 or 10 unparented ones).
I'm assuming the "jar-on-a-stick" is the transmission control lever for the two-speed gearbox. You can reduce its wobble many ways, such as by using feedback loops on a hydraulic controlling it, lightening it and adding a slight bit of friction, parenting, etc. Based on your post, you seemed to have been committed to the realism of this rather difficult vehicle, so you could have noted that the model T possessed a lever on the steering wheel that controlled throttle. It had a transmission and braking assembly operated by foot pedals rather than the more common transmission stalk. You also can note that until the 1920s it had a hand-crank start; on agricultural equipment and such of the era, it's often engaged via a hole in the front, under the radiator. The suspension was also rather identifying, being a leaf spring system similar to how some trucks and german half tracks in the 1940s had it--a single leaf bank, suspended directly over the axle, with ends of the bank touching the left and right sides to correspond with the wheels. the axles also had a distinctive shape; Ford took pride in using high-quality vanadium steel for the axles, which contributed to the vehicle's reliability.
There are a lot of little features that really add up to make something better than "meh". It's not bad, but I have a feeling you can do better, and would feel proud if you did. I'd like to see a "detailed remake" or such by you.
The steering, trans, throttle, etc. controls:

Best of luck an dhappy building!

Thats a change from ganging up on Red

Thing is, Red was a fag whereas MrWhite is cool.

SHATTAP AND LEEVE!
Looks like ass but the idea is good
Construcktive feedback: too long, bad choice of colours, use smaller plates...
It does not have the same proportions: Ford Model T had a shorter chassis and were a bit higher...
I've also made one of these cars earlier, though I did'n post it because the dupe failed...
The car looks like dildos but you'll get there, eventually.
it's a bit enormous

I notice now that I seemed a bit more serious than I actually was. I'm sorry.
