All of these pictures have a story to go with it; I won't post the link to the actual stories that go with these pictures because I feel I might get in trouble with some big bossman Administrator/ Moderator.
I know these are not the best around, although I did work hard on most of them. Considering the main point wasn't the picture; but the story that went with it. I feel they're good.
PS: I have no idea how that last one got in there.

Right, keep in mind this is my very first post on this website, ever.
The main reason I had signed up for this website about a year and a half ago was for the Stargate Addon.
I've made these with my own experience, and know that I've seen that tutorial list I'll be attempting my hand at some advanced poses.
Cheap explosions and posing is really bad.
If you wouldn't mind posting some petter prop explosions, because I don't go looking for these things. When I make a picture I grab what I've already downloaded and make something that'll only take me maybe thirty minutes to make.
As I said above, these pictures weren't mean to look great by them selves; it's the stories that go with them that I've made.
The solution. Dont use prop explosions. No matter how you do it, it looks like shit. Photoshop good sir.
Also, posing is mediocre and angles are lame. Work on those some.
there is a new explosion replacement that looks eye pleasing, download that, and the effect pack, makes for better ingame editing

After taking some advice from you fine men I have decided my hand at the first really-attempted image.
Still SST based; although I had help with the Tutorials.
Helpful feedback would be great.
Getting better, but looks to dark. You outta turn your graphics up a bit. Add some more glow from the muzzleflash, and while your at it, make it smaller.
The dark thing; yeah I would agree. But I did want to send a darker town with this one.
As for the muzzle flash, I agree with that as well.
As for the smaller; meh.
Go on youtube and look up some real muzzle flashes. Itll give you better reference.
Making the image impossible to see doesn't set a darker tone. Using visible, yet dark colors does.
Oh, and work on the posing and angle.

If it helps, get into the same pose as you are posing. Does it feel natural? Does it feel like something someone would actually do?
Actually, I'm glad you said that. I noticed that I wouldn't actually do anything in that pose in real life; this is the reason why I'm looking up poses of simple things like: Running, ducking, shooting.
Simple things that people would actually do.
Also, I'd like to thank the community for not being complete assholes, because although I'm brand new to this no one has said "You're awful, get the fuck out."
At least I've been shown with some Kindness.

I believe it's because you've actually shown the will to improve, rather than ignore advice and go on posting screenshots you think are good.
