Couldn't find any other blood splatter effects that didn't look like shit.
The muzzle flash and the blood splatter are pretty flat.
plenty of empty space on the left
Blood spatter is eh and there's a small rifle cartridge ejecting from the pistol Also aliasing is bad. Posing is pretty good but the angle could use a lil bit of work.
I agree that the blood spatters need some work. You might find these helpful: http://www.photoshoptutorials.ws/downloads/photoshop-brushes/dried-blood-splatters-photoshop-brushes/

I may use photoshop soon.
The guy getting mauled in the corner is all like "Whateves! #Idntgottymefordis #bitesrluvnotes" Posing good...mostly everything has been said.
A shot to the neck creates an exit wound in the head. Too much is going on in too little of a space. Your center is all cluttered while leaving blank space to the sides, mostly the left. A bit of a further out view with more riot control would have made the picture feel more urgent, I believe. On top of that, when I think of zombies, or infected beings, I want to stay away from them. The fact that the guys are running into a melee of either resurrected or infected beings makes little sense to me. Your opponent is forced into melee combat, keep your distance.
