Set the mood. Generic, but I like it. C&C as always.

Can't see shit.
I just came for the Johnny Cash
The picture messed up, fixing link now.
The person looks awkward. The facial expression matches the situation but the way he's sitting and the way he's holding the alcohol don't make sense. I like the mood you went for. I'm going to remake this scene so you can see what you could improve on. You're not getting a lot of feedback here so I'll help
I'll be back!
Here we are, took the liberty of revamping this picture!

It's all in gmod, same map, same location. This is what you can do if you put a bit more effort and time into the pose. You have to convince the viewers of the mood, so you create the mood. Mood killers = poor posing, lack of prop placement (Looks very boring and unrealistic), lack of attention to detail, etc etc. Gotta think outside the box, how can YOU make it better without people having to show you. I have fun with my poses, as I did with this one. I like turning boring area's into something purdy! Haha. Hope I've helped you in any way!
I can try and dig up the Metro 2033 prop pack (900 props) if you want some quality material to pose with if you like.

It looks like he is gonna pop that shotgun shell right in his mouth.
Did you purposfully try to fuck up his wrists or did you simply not pay any attention at all when you posed this?
You need to improve your posing, might wanna check out some real life reference. In this case I would try googling casual sitting so you get a sense of what a natural looking human looks like.
This guy looks so unimaginably uncomfertable
Honest aren't ya'? Anways, the thumb just didn't work out, I tried for a while to get it nice and straight, the wrists just wherever I put them wouldn't seem human. Thanks for that though, I'll try references, and a bit more patience.

Ok I'm gonna give you a tip I can tell you need. Once you freeze the hand, grab the lower arm and twist it. Same goes for the legs. That is how you avoid banana arms on those models, and various other issues with other models.
When u are grabbing something with the physgun hold down E and twist the limb.
Hope it helps, didn't intend to be mean! :)
