7 Hour War - Garry's Mod - Facepunch Forum

Well I did another scene built tonight, themed on the 7 hour war. When I think 7 hour war it always reminds me of the book 'War of the Worlds' and thus I think of the striders, but also those other little combine aliens that we rarely see in the actual game (such as the walking hulk like tank, the mini flying aliens and the mine droppers). So of course I thought they suited the 7 hour war, perhaps these things being the only attackers, though it isn't really shown what kind of alien warriors attacked Earth, but we can assume things like striders are not combine and human technological cross overs. Quite the opposite, the Vorts were the ones fleeing from the Combine, this is what directed the actual Combine forces to Earth itself, the Vorts allied themselves with the Humans during the war.
