As you can see, I have become somewhat out of practice. C&C please. ---------------------------------------------------------------- On this important date, the 66th anniversary of Operation Overlord, spare a thought for those men who have served their country in the pursuit of freedom of all peoples. And spare a thought for all those serving today - whether you agree with your government's foreign policy or not, there are men and women out there risking life every day, and many don't come home. Magnifique, splendide, superbe, mon cher Chestymcgee. Because English words can't describe this.
Dat wound. It is so HD.
Not your best, but nice nevertheless. Wound edit is impressive.
The model actually looks like Joseph Mazello.
Amazing job texturing, I love how you made the face detailed. Rain is decent, drops are looking neat and the splashes too. The wound is great, althrough a bit too sharp on the right side for my taste. The colors just add to the lovely atmosphere. Great Work.
:golfclap: You are a god among men
It's... big?

Had to do a lot of shading to bring out certain details though, like his distinctive nose shape.
Amazing job texturing, I love how you made the face detailed. its even more impressive when you look at the original. I especially like the texturing.
:what:
I meant that I need a damn huge monitor the size of a wall to see that without having to scroll around. It's still nice, though. I dig the editing of course.

I think we're in an age where I shouldn't have to scale down a 1680x1050 picture though, you can't see the detail properly without it fullsize anyways. You can always right-click and open it in a new tab. Gracias for the comment, pal.
its even more impressive when you look at the original.
Gracias for the comment, pal.
No problemo.
This is amazing.
He is supposed to look at the camera, but it actually more looks like he's looking at some guy at the right of it :/ Anyway, awesome picture and very well done edit. And, since it's apparently a nice compliment to tell french stuff to people, très bon boulot.
Magnifique, splendide, superbe, mon cher Chestymcgee. Because English words can't describe this.
Yes they can. Magnificent, splendid, superb all do the job nicely. Great work here Chesterp
As stated on Steam earlier, I do not like the rain. Good shadowing and texturing, though.

"Watcha got there Sledgehamma?"
Beautiful, and very detailed, you even added pores on his face!
Very nice shading and texturing. I especially like the shadow cast by his head. Wound looks quite nice as well. The rain comes off as a bit 2D, maybe if you added a bit of gray fog in the background it would have helped. The water dripping down off of his nose also seems to lack depth. But otherwise, great pic. The atmosphere is fantastic.
Wound looks like a horrible zombie bite, besides that and the rain it's pretty good.
This is amazing.
Thanks. :)
Anyway, awesome picture and very well done edit.
Thank you!
Yes they can. This picture was all about the detail.
Amazing picture Chesty as always, The Pacific is an awesome show
Thanks! And damn straight it is. I'd say the best thing that has ever been on TV, apart from perhaps Band of Brothers.
But otherwise, great pic. The atmosphere is fantastic.
Thanks for the critique, Vman - I greatly appreciate it.
Wound looks like a horrible zombie bite, besides that and the rain it's pretty good.
Well... wounds aren't nice. Thanks for the comment.
awsome picture chesty, but the middle blood spot on his helmet looks like its on the camera lence. other than that its magnificent no wait, looking at it now it looks fine. sorry
The detail you added in is what makes it so great I think. Have a pallet.
he doesn't look very wet and the drops are very flat nice details though
Texturing and wound edit are so awesome.
Nice, I just finished this series. Good: Texture is jizztastic Bad: Rain doesn't look like rain, more like some sort of tearing.
Oh, so I was right when I thought that was Sledge from The Pacific! It looks amazing. I just think the rain looks too dense, and the blood on his face looks too much like a burn instead of blood in my opinion. Also, HQ picture of Sledge here.
FFFFFF I wish I had HBO :( Dam this is one hell of a picture congratz on making this chesty :)
