gm_black scenebuild, edited in-game this might as well be any japanese city, but i'll just call it yokohama since i used to live there. c&c appreciated.
The city itself looks nice. I especially like the large district walling, although the sun is sort of preventing a clear view to some degree. The posing on the people on the right seems a little awkward, and the left side of the street is real empty. Don't quite like the difference in car sources, an example being the Neotokyo cars placed adjacent to the red sports car. The Fallout sidewalks and whatever that pavement is from seems really out of scale, but maybe that's just me. Overall I like the build, but I think there's just a bit too much empty space across the bottom half of the screen.
you should have added some pieces of garbage on the sides of the road and sidewalks
you should have added some pieces of garbage on the sides of the road and sidewalks
true, some more garbage would've maybe reduced the emptyness. i did put a few pieces of junk here and there, but they're barely visible.
Where'd you get the roads? Looks awesome BTW.
I hate repeating myself, but may I ask what custom/game content you used to make this? I'm aware some of these props are from NeoTokyo and DipRip, but I'd like to know what others were used. This looks amazing, by the way.
- Diprip - Neotokyo - Fallout 3/NV - S.T.A.L.K.E.R (not sure which ones) - Dystopia - Halo 3 - Mass Effect 2/3 that should be p. much all.
When it comes to using props from DipRip and Dystopia, do you just install the mods into your Steam which allows you to use them in Garry's Mod like other source engine games?
Wow, really like this! Love the detail you've added with the buildings, well done. The lighting is also pretty great, fits the scene. Only a few things I would say need a bit more attention. The posing a tad stiff in area's. More people walking might help make the sidewalks feel less empty, as well as adding garbage and maybe some foliage. But man, good work here!
by far ur best build yet m8
ty. i think it's one of my better ones too, except for the posing which i'm not very happy with.
it'd be more interesting if the streets were filled with a few more people. the scenebuild though, i love it
