this map looks really nice to me
I'm loving the look, the roads and pavement seem really well proportioned in relation to the buildings which is a problem with some other maps and it seems a lot more detailed and well constructed than your previous maps but still has the same pleasant atmosphere. A few things that bug me though:
- Bad road layout at 0:26 to 0:37, I'm sure that i've seen junctions like this before but for actual use they are much more difficult to negotiate than a normal cross road. Also it's less visually appealing having the tree lined avenue just end abruptly like that, you should extend the separated lanes to the other side of the junction and have a road island to separate them, then have them merge into a narrower road after a few more meters. I know it's pretty difficult to describe but hopefully you understand what i'm getting at.
- Could definitely use a 3D skybox if possible. It adds so much to the realism of a map, seeing the roads go off into the void just ruins the experience for me.
- The tunnels should be better lit than they curretnly are, also there should be a source for the lights like a lamp model.
Apart from that though this looks very good and I'm looking forward to the release.
