I love that omni-tool. Anyway, the posing is great, but the picture is a bit bland.
Use this one, much better. Even comes with a bodygroup for the light http://s-low.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=867&hilit=geth
I didn't think the Geth used or needed to use omnitools for anything. They're living computers, it seems like they can do translation and calculation on their own. But I do like the effect it adds to the picture. The bloody handprints on the left one's torso were a very nice touch.
Legion and other Geth use the Omni Tool, they may be computers but they still can't spontaneously emit tech powers.

A new layer, or multiple new layers, with all of them the mode set to hard light. Make a wiiiiiide, thin selection with... well, I use the square selection tool. Take a big, round, very soft-edged brush and lower the opacity to... hmmmm 25%. Make sure the brush is so big that the painting tool's circle reaches the edges of the selection. Click in the middle once, for the colour I'd recommend white. Then start to shrink the brush size and raise the opacity slowly, and always after modifying both, click in the middle of the selection. When you have this soft-edged, thin line there, start applying glow spreading out from the middle area with feathered selections and new layers. This pic shows all the necessary selections:
Err, hard light? Where's that in GIMP?
Err, hard light? Where's that in GIMP?
The drop-down menu in the layers tab. You can set the fill mode from there. [editline]01:15PM[/editline] I took the liberty of adding the effect for you.
Updated with Joazzz's
The main problem with the omnitool is that it should cast light on the geth. Otherwise, pretty solid good looking pose.

Looks nice though
More or less make a ball with a big round brush, duplicate it, and then scale the bottom layer to the sides and make it potentially thiner Set it to soft light and duplicate Here 10 second result. Could I have the original so I could try it on that?
Looks ubercool
