never sharpen... it automatically makes your picture ugly, and maybe improve the speech bubble
otherwise, the posing is okay but i can't really seem to understand whats happening in the picture

Also, don't use sobel, sharpen, or standard DOF in shots. Your speech bubble is out of line, I actually recently made a [url=http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1110069-Comics-and-YOU-quot-Pacing-and-Speech-Bubbles-quot]tutorial[/url] on easy speech bubbles.
