How to fix Faceposer being broken with Source 2009

Go to your username/garrysmod/garrysmod folder and open gameinfo.txt
You will see this particular line
SteamAppId 440 // 218
Change it to
SteamAppId 218
Since Gmod reverts the file to its original state, you will have to do this every time you launch the SDK.
I think it's currently glitching because Source SDK Base 2009 isn't out yet, but I'm not sure.
What I would recommend doing (and that's what I do at the moment) is creating a dummy SourceMod with SteamAppId set at 218.
This is the second fucking time you've saved my ass. Max, it is official. I love you. There is no one on this forum I love more than you. The last time you helped me I had a problem the VERY DAY BEFORE, it's the same with this one! <3 max
How did you find this out, anyway?
With knowledge of how Steam works
I don't like that solution myself so what I've made is mounting a dummy SourceMod (under SRC2007) from the SDK, which contains only my custom content
been doing this since this morning and the workflow is much faster as I don't have to skim through thousands of folders again
Ok I'm sorry for sounding like a numbnut, but since you're posting this in the videos section, do you mean SDK faceposer or Gmod faceposer?
SDK Faceposer
