I've always used magnetize to unparent. "And that is why you never parent to a prop, because it is dumb, and you are dumb for doing it." If only FP had signatures... Thanks for that moving large sections thing, had no idea that was possible. As to nocollide all, It has been my habit to nocollide all then parent. Is it more optimal to do it the other way around as was done in the video?

yeah, it's easier to just use the mass nocollide all tool

If you mention that a 350 prop car [i]might[/i] be causing snapshots, they fly off in a tirade about "We don't want people to join us anyway". I'm looking at you [GME]Mad. :I

i feel sick when i think about the cars from GME

they're mostly terrible, some are pretty good. Danzig makes good stuff but his building habits are atrocious.

I thought that GME died out in like 2008 or something. I think GME I think "old gunski contraptions". Besides, decent building habits aren't hard--wire parent, nocollideallmulti, don't spam thrusters & use constraints properly (no 50 wobbly welds, no 8 ineffectual ballsockets, no 5 or 6 axises on a wheel cuz it'll flip the fuck out). And not everything needs a transmission and engine (unless your zeospantera :v:)
