Hello everybody, I just read about faceposer and watched a few tutorials and I get the idea but there is something which is confusing me and I'm not sure it can be done or not.
What I want is to be able to make a tf2 scene in faceposer with the lipsyncing and choreography and everything and then use the scene in gmod, is that possible?
I have yet to use faceposer (currently downloading it) and I plan to use every step in tutorials made by katana and others... what I want to achieve is something like this

Well not really like this, but the way the Heavy talks and moves etc... I tried doing that by using faceposer ingame in gmod and taking picture by picture then adding the sound but at the end its very bad work.
Soo any help please? Just need the basic idea not a very detailed explanation
You may have to do it in tf2 using console commands.
Like you spawn the heavy in tf2, and then do the ent_setname (what his you want to use) and then ent_fire (the name) setexpressionoverride scenes/Yourfacepose name.vcd
so if i have a map from garrysmod.org I can load it up in tf2 spawn a bot and then do the same thing as the tutorial katana made for tf2?
or is there a way to do it in gmod?
Long as the map you put in tf2 has all the materials that tf2 has.
I don't know about gmod, you could spawn a npc that use's the tf2 skins.
Thanks for your replies Scoutking, anyone else have any feedback regarding this?
There must be a way to make it work on gmod maps in gmod
