I hate to be so nitpicky - but I'm pretty sure the C-130 is pressurized meaning the pilots would not normally wear oxygen masks. Furthermore, the aircraft appear to be rather close to the ground and the pilots probably wouldn't even need oxygen at that altitude. It would be more convincing if the C-130 pilots were just wearing headsets.

I agree as well, i think the fog that you applied, in particular the one visible on the front of the plane, kind of screws it up and makes it look flat.
I like the original more.
It's not that the editing is bad or anything, but the clear colours reminds me of a calm summer's eve.

i just use the default photoshop fog, and occasionally switch the colors around so it renders differently, if you have any other method of making fog i'd be happy to hear it.

good thing i did edit it then, because if you look carefully you can see destroyed buildings in the background, it is certainly not a calm summer's eve.

Actually c-130 pilots do wear oxygen masks occasionally, it's not that unheard of :/
