Also, Bubba, shouldn't the tail go right through soldier instead of just the tip stuck in his chest, considering they're [i]really fucking sharp[/I]?

I think he ran out of tail to use
the visor glow is kind of bad and the blur is unnecessary.
The color and amount of detail is really good, though. The background and left-hand side of the image with the alien is really good. The troopers themselves are kind of crappy and out of place in comparison to the amount of detail in the picture because they are all covered up by muzzle flashes, beams, shadows and, my favorite, BLUR.
With the night vision, you gotta make sure that every thing that is bright is amplified Nightvision increases brightness to 10 times it's original brightness so watch out for that.
So a muzzleflash or a even a tiny lamp should be almost blinding with bloom.

I see some bad isolation mistakes. Mainly the orange lighting on the soldiers.

Nope.. i made them i just took a white paintbrush and erased thhe edges with a cloud brush..then outer glow'd the shit outt of it
Your style is awesome, They are all complaining about bad isolation or other small problems, the overall picture is very nice. Nothing majorly wrong, very very nice!
