"Copy, Blue. Stand by..." "Solid copy." The radio clicked off with a subtle and yet abrupt "bleep!" The four of us who made up Red ream walked, sights up, through the leaky and silent corridor. The stench of mildew filled our nostrils. The place hadn't been touched in months. We finally reached our destination; the once gray way-point on our MWS displays flickered to a bright green before dissipating. Inside, footsteps were heard and the audio was enhanced. Visual indicators from acoustic rangefinders let us see the approximate locations of four, no, five hostiles. Red-two shuffled through his rucksack, pulling out a sticky bar with a trigger tied to it. He flicked on his remote and slapped the gooey stick on to the metallic door. He nodded at my direction and the four of us split up in to teams of two, taking up each side of the door. "Red, in position." "Copy." There was a pause... One, two... three seconds passed by. The radio clicked on again and my heart stopped, with my own trembling voice saying "Alpha." The next set of motions were a blur. "Go, go, go!" was shouted and projected through someone's voice projection unit attached to their helmet while Red-two smashed his trigger finger on the trigger, detonating the stick. A loud "plam!" erupted in to the hallway along with a brief puff of black smog. The door's handle was blown to smitheereens. Another "plack!" was heard across the now available room, following once "kak kak kak!" but now an entire uproar of gunfire. All of this happened during the second and a half it took for all four of us to enter the room, weapons raised and our own eyes and computer systems scanning for targets. The floor we were on was secured. I looked up, and two unsuspecting guards were still in shock. They doubled around, doing a 180 degree turn and raised their own rifles. One millisecond... two milliseconds. Eye contact was made, but no eyes were seen through either of our visors. I couldn't see the shocked expressions on their faces, and to me, they looked like machines. Machines with no souls or hearts or compassion. Machines like me. I squeezed the trigger. Game on.
Game on.
Wasn't expecting first person. I like the depth of field on the gun.
Magnificent, thing that bugs me is the scope, Were is the box o.o
Magnificent, thing that bugs me is the scope, Were is the box o.o
The "box" is part of the rifle. The optic isn't indicating anything that the rifle is looking at. It's just fully transparent and you're seeing whatever is on the other side; in this case it's the other half of the rifle.
The gun looks so real!
Is very good looking dude
I guess you could say they're clearing the sector hurr (get it get it water filtration and clearing the water of germs and shit and bad stuff get it???) [editline]04:07AM[/editline] also, it looks just like a next-gen game, i applaud you.
Are those the combine skins with the coke cans for filters? If so, you did a good job covering them up with the rail. Did you make the grittiness in game or post?

Damn terrorists, trying to steal our clean water!
I see you're going with the BF:BC2 method of a first person view where people rest their stocks on their ears. Apart from that, looks hella sexy. I love the edges of the visor on the bottom corners of the screen. What is that gun model from?
This is fookin hawt. What's the weapon model? Sexy atmosphere, posing and camera angle as usual although I'm not liking the crazy weapon origins. Reminds me a lot of Killzone 2, or that Terminator indy game.
Well holy shit.
Damn. Thats a nice first person shot.
I love that rifle.
You totally nailed it if you were going for a Killzone style(Duh, I think I'm stating the obvious). Looks fucking awesome.
Love it ...reminds me of killzone 2 somwhat
looks currrrrrazy could you please post the original?
looks currrrrrazy could you please post the original?
Incoming crappy collage/incomprehensible mashup of various images and layer effects achieved by lamps, lights, particle effects and beyond
Game On indeed. Well done sir.
I know this is old but wow I never noticed the helmet along the edges of the screen. That's a cool effect.
I want to play it! :frown:
Reminds me of Killzone 2/Bad Company 2. Very nice work.
I got really into those modern warrior systems a while back when Ghost Recon 2 came out (not to be mistaken with GRAW 2). I even saw the prototype Future Warrior gear up close at a tech convention a few years ago along with UAVs and other cool future tech stuff. Too bad none of it really took off. Hell, it's taken us until now to finally get a rifle to replace the shitty M16, yet only a few hundred people are going to get it.
Stop bumping this piece of shit. It bugs the hell out of me that there's no reflection on the rifle. Going to just fix it because, christ, that's ugly. [editline]05:37AM[/editline] Done, for what it's worth. [editline]05:38AM[/editline] That still looks like shit. I guess I'm not going to waste my time trying to fix it after all.
Well damn, that's one sexy picture.
bump
