It's good that you tried to edit it, but you should be more careful when you use your brush when editing because it does not look very accurate. Try to pick a smaller sized brush when you do lights/shadows or dodge/burn brushing. If you have trouble controlling the dragging with the mouse when you paint, hold LEFT CLICK and SHIFT at the same time, then drag your mouse and let go. It will draw a nicer/more accurate line.
