If your major first effort is putting a truck, a guy, and a gun down and slapping a filter on, I'd hate to see you not trying.
JPEG Quality is low, lots of empty space, bad filter, the posing looks fine, but it's hard to see. Zoom in with the camera, make a focus point, up the jpeg quality, and stuff. It's not terrible for a first, just practice practice practice and you'll do fine.
