You guys have to understand, Even though he didnt add a flash from the shot, In real life, guns dont make flashes when they are fired.

it's the heat and gas exiting the barrel that make it, I believe. I'm not a gun expert though

They do, but most don't. If the gun has a muzzle break, then there will be no flash, which is fairly common.

Acually they do make flashes, but sometimes the don't.
