Have you ever actually seen clothing that looks like what the guy's wearing? In terms of the fabric?
lack of creasing and over-contrasted/sharpened stitches in the shirt make it look like chainmail, blobby shading and relatively flat, pockmarked surface makes the pants look like sponge
