lighting and posing on ak man looks fucked, legs in particular. cig smoke brush looks totally out of place. muzzle flash is typical hollywood fireball, looks like you smoke brushed that too. tracers not only look wrong/hollywood/retarded but have no place in this picture, i am sick to goddamn fucking death of repeating myself over and over in every new thread to the same handful of users. debris looks like it was just brushed on, and while it's clever, you've made no effort to light it so it doesn't look nearly as impressive as it could. massive hole in the near wall not only makes no goddamn sense, but looks totally 2d - walls are not just black holes sandwiched by plaster. the bulletholes on the far wall look shit, like you just scribbled with a grey brush at half opacity and then drew a black dot in the centre. they don't look like bulletholes in any material, let alone plasterboard. the posing on the victims is at least sort of right in terms of what they're doing, but messy. 7.62x39 [i]will not[/i] propel a grown man (or even a child) backwards off their feet. blood looks fucking awful, even ignoring the fact it's fountaining from the entry and there's no blood coming from the exit at all (i.e. totally backwards) it's just shitty smoke brushing that looks less like blood than it does some terrible red smoke effect. i guess maybe if you scaled it back a bit, used it for the exit, and added in some more substantial spatter it'd look okay, but in this picture, no. the way you've used a spatter brush (for doing blood sprayed across surfaces, not the blood IN FLIGHT) makes it look even worse.

the two things i will commend you on are the book and the debris, even though you only half-arsed the latter. you had some good ideas until you decided to hop aboard the 'let's make everything look dumb and over the top just like the movies' train.

end verdict: the only thing in this test worth keeping is the debris, and even then only with a lot of work.
And to add to that, the posing of the guy to the right is odd. He looks like he is staring to the left or something.
Black guy needs a better facial expressions.

That second pic you posted is mine, I can't believe you found it. I messed up on the posing though, legs are too close.

This looks great man, nice job. Work a little on the tracers and the blood spray, it shouldn't have come out of his head at an angle.

Say nice work. What do you use to edit and if its what i have i need to know were you learned to edit the flash and the rounds and stuff. ive tried allot and all is shit.

that post was definitely negative, because fumples is clearly an idiot. my initial post, however, wasn't. you had a good idea with the debris, but the rest wasn't. run with the good stuff and cut the rest.
