amazing you get ochocinco+ points for the balloons. as well as always making amazing pics.
Glad you like it. This is probably one of my favorite screenshots. I've been going to college in Philadelphia for what's coming up on a month, there's this bus stop I sit by every night to clear my mind (I'm a "go for a walk at 1AM" kinda person). Yesterday it was raining, and was honestly just beautiful. I like the city a lot, a lot of people see rain and night and stuff as depressing, I think it is the mellowest, most relaxing kind of atmosphere. This scenebuild came from that feeling, tried to recreate it.
Just don't wander into North Philly. Also, minor criticism. The purple arrow is just horrible. The angle from which you put that prop makes it look flat and as if someone drew it in ms paint on top of the image. Maybe add a thin white line going through it and add some cyan bloom around the sign a little? Maybe adjust the sign to face inside the doorway like that blue sign on the right. Only thing that I didn't like about it.
the reflection looks oddly squished
What did you use for the buildings in the background?
https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1441673&highlight=prop
Thanks, man!
Fixed some things based on suggestions, thanks for all the feedback! Gonna use this as a chance to plug my own thread, I was able to remove that light and all the light it casts in post because of this big complicated lighting method that I and a few others around here use. Much better, probably one of my favourites.
