I endorse this.
I feel like this could be so much better if you made it a decently sized poster, worked on it, downscaled it and uploaded it as a png and threw the link somewhere. It's got major jpeg compression.
Really nice idea and execution, agree with rikky though
What program did you use?

Program? I used SFM and edit it with Photoshop CS6
It looks really nice.
Is it a scenebuild?
Not sure what you've done, but the characters and piano look like they've been inserted into a picture. Rather than actually being part of it.
There's something about SFM pics that always look fake could you show me the unedited version?

Yeah I think I can see where the problem comes from. You don't have any ingame lightning instead just the AO.
Makes everything look like flat images layered on top of each other. You need actual shadows from light to tie the whole thing together.
EDIT
actually the first picture looks much better in the tie in than the one you have in your OP. I presume you you overlayed the two images in some way which made the AO pop up even more. You still have issues with shadow vs the light direction. The light comes from the windows. Yet no shadows are pointing in that direction. Rather your sole shadows seem to come from the AO, which runs in the opposite direction.
