I would see it with some darker colors, but anyway looks great, good job.

The angle is actually not bad, but the colors, facial expressions and lighting are really awkward.
their facial expressions are not awkward, they are very real and they show how Russians got used to that bloody war in Grozny like it's normal thing and a daily routine.
Editing needs work, they don't blend in well and stick out. Angle is good though.

don't expect them to have some sort of Hollywoonized emotions. Here take a look at this documentary how Russians don't give a fuck when they're in the middle of operation, you can find many of them on youtube. As for that scenebuild I can see how warman in my opinion managed to show not just real expressions but the russian ones.

Except this fighting in the video is taking place in bumblefuck nowhere in the woods, the fighting in the picture is up close and they have burning wreckage in the streets and probably hundreds of dirty Chechens smacking the building with bullets and rockets.
It's a good picture but the real off side are the lack of emotion in the middle of heavy combat. Sure, they don't have to be weeping or overly-expressing emotion with a big dumb frowny face but the utter lack of emotion doesn't help either, the only guy with a proper emotion is the guy with the arm injury and that's probably just a coping mechanism to moan the stinging away.
