I worked hard on landscape sculpting and material management. I tried to make things look exotic. Hopefully it was worthwhile.
Jesus, that lighting is crazy! It doesn't even look like something that came out of source engine.
as always, it's amazing what do you mean by sculpting though?
This is by far my favourite one, that desert landscape is simply beautiful.
Wow, this really looks like awesome. I respect you. That 10/10
Absolutely mind-blowing yet again. You're a real inspiration
It doesn't even look like something that came out of source engine.
good >:)
what do you mean by sculpting though?
specifically the rock formations - each 'big rock' is made of 20-40 different models combined together in different formations to give them more appealing geometry, so the word sculpting felt more appropriate than posing, idk
Absolutely amazing as always.
Man, this makes me want to go and make an extensive scenebuild. Stellar work.
Holy fucking shit
Love these server dust pieces. Also if possible, mind telling me where you got the maskless Metro cop from?
From one of the models in here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=104491619 (I think) e: Oh silly me, that dude there is made of two ragdolls: one the mask-less barney model, and the second for the head (from http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=677125227)
so you're saying you combined the two models? How do you manage that? (soz for multiple questions, it's just I've been aching to get my hands on maskless Metrocops for a while)
Aye, did it by using inflator to reduce barney head size, then placed another ragdoll and used visual clip tool to decapitate him and stick the head in the right place
Man this is some incredible work. I always get a buzz when you release a new piece of art!
visual clip tool
You got a link to that?
I got the original from the WIPs thread, and fixed some saving related bugs as well as added an option to clip effect models: https://www.dropbox.com/s/y4nywccxd49m419/visual_clip_tool.rar?dl=0
With each, your, new art, the cover of my table is harder to withstand my falling jaw. Indescribable picture quality. You are Titan gmod community
Ah thanks a lot mate [editline]11th April 2017[/editline] Do you install them like ragdoll packs?

I refuse to believe that this was made in Garry's mod. End of. :P
Dude Viox, show some scenebuild pics and original links. I enjoy looking at those as well. Always interesting how it looks like from the side. [editline]16th April 2017[/editline] Also, what's that lower left flat surface with the tire patterns? Is the ground generally the snow props colored in sand? [editline]16th April 2017[/editline] By the way, the mountains in the background are just incredible. They look like canyons. In fact, you should make a super awesome canyon scene out of this. Just remove the sand and dig down in the scenebuild and reuse the rock assets you already have.
Incredible landscape there, I also dig the reflections on the vehicle. But idk, there's a certain je ne sais quoi missing, to me at least. I think it would look cooler if the sun bleached the scene a bit more and if some heat haze was present in the background, a tad so that it doesn't hide the detail. Just my $0.02 Oh, also a scene like this will never have shadows that dark, but at this point it's just me being an asshole and nitpicking :D

Didn't have a chance to take a picture of the scenebuild, will post it later on when I can. Lower left surface doesn't have tire patterns but sand/water flow patterns, all materials were indeed applied on the snow props for the ground. Also, I might just do a landscape only scene next. It was super relaxing to do.
Incredible landscape there, I also dig the reflections on the vehicle. But idk, there's a certain je ne sais quoi missing, to me at least. Shame I didn't get the shadow exposure right. I really tried to get sky light levels and sun bounce levels correct (although admittedly whilst making sure to let enough details pop out rather than washing the darks.) e: Can you perhaps post an example of what you think would look best (shadow wise)?
Ragdoll packs are folders you download with ragdolls in them? [editline]17th April 2017[/editline] i think
Welp. I downloaded every ragdoll I have from the workshop, hope that clears it up.
ah
